In the latter part of his life, Moses, the servant of God, taught Israel a song which prophesied the entire future of the people of Israel. The LORD had called Moses and Joshua into the tabernacle to announce Moses’ death, and to impart to Moses the song, which he was to teach Israel, as “ a witness for me (the LORD) against them“.
